Hey there!
My name is Ryan, I’m a freelance writer and photographer and I am here to help tell your story in a powerful way. I currently live in California, where I work with brands and individuals to create a real connections through vision-inspired stories, blog content, and social media. I want to help you find your voice, create a powerful visual identity, and help drive meaningful connections to your purpose. My mission is to share your story with the world.
Me? I am fueled by adventure. I was a wilderness guide in Torres del Paine, Patagonia and the Atacama desert in Chile where I led people on high mountain ascents, hikes, mountain bike trips, and on horseback rides through some of the most amazing landscapes on planet Earth

I have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a gritty work ethic, and a high level of comfort with risk. I possess a technical and data-driven mindset when it comes to marketing your brand, but I never lose sight of the “why” at the heart of your mission.

I have had the privilege of leading people of all walks of life to some of their most beautiful, challenging, and fulfilling experiences, which has given me a first hand knowledge that the experience of adventure is available to everyone, independent of experience, age, income, or physical abilities. My goal is to make those experiences more available to you by sharing my knowledge, insights, and stories in a way that helps you deepen your connection to the natural world.

A little more about me
I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I fell in love with climbing and hiking. I was a wacky, mischievous, outgoing kid always getting into trouble and the mountains became the one place I could calm the f*** down. When I was 14, a mentor of mine from Alaska gave me his old Canon T70 35mm camera and I was hooked. Since then, all I’ve ever wanted to do was travel, adventure, and share the stories. This, and my studies of Anthropology, drove me to live abroad for six years all around Latin America, becoming a wilderness guide in Patagonia and the Atacama Desert for the last three.
I love teaching people about the amazing world around us and I hope to inspire a deeper look into our world through nature and culture.
